Belarusians in Thailand 2026:15-Day Visa on Arrival + TDAC

Visa rules, TDAC arrival card, customs, currency, vaccines and embassy contacts for Belarusian travellers heading to Thailand in 2026.

Visa Status: Visa on Arrival (15 Days)

Entry Requirements

If you hold a passport from Belarus, you must submit a Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) before entering the Kingdom of Thailand. The TDAC replaced the paper-based TM6 form and is now required for all international arrivals — regardless of your visa status or purpose of travel.

As a Belarusian citizen, you can get a Visa on Arrival at the airport counter before immigration. You still file the TDAC before you land. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry. The TDAC collects your personal details, travel information, and accommodation address in Thailand.

⚠️ Common Issue for Belarusian Passport Holders

Belarusian name transliteration — this is the most common reason for TDAC rejections from Belarusian travelers. Our system automatically detects and corrects these issues before submission, ensuring your arrival card is accepted without delays at immigration.

How to Apply

  1. 1Have your Belarus passport ready with at least 6 months validity from your planned entry date.
  2. 2Complete the online form on TDAC.info with your personal details, travel itinerary, and accommodation address in Thailand.
  3. 3Our team reviews your submission for errors and you receive your approved QR code via email before your departure.
  4. 4Present your QR code at Thai immigration upon arrival — no paper forms needed, skip the queues.

Visa Status

Belarusian citizens: Visa on Arrival (15 Days). Pay the 2,000 THB fee in cash at the Visa on Arrival counter before immigration.

Visa Duration for Belarusian Citizens

Belarusian passport holders get 15 days on a Visa on Arrival (2,000 THB, paid in cash at the airport). It can be extended once, by 7 days, at a local Immigration office.

Flights to Thailand from Belarus

  • Minsk (MSQ) → Bangkok (via connection)

Common TDAC Mistakes by Belarusian Travelers

  • Belarus is on Thailand's Visa-on-Arrival (15-day) list, not the visa-exempt scheme; the VOA fee is 2,000 THB in cash at the airport
  • Belarusian name transliteration must match passport Latin text
  • Passport numbers: 2 letters + 7 digits

Auto Gates at Suvarnabhumi: Belarus Is Not on the Announced List

On 17 August 2026 Thailand approved in principle the addition of 31 more passports to the automated arrival gates at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, joining Thailand, Singapore and Hong Kong. Belarus is not among them, so arrival is at a manned immigration counter as before. The Thailand Digital Arrival Card remains mandatory either way and has to be filed before you travel.

The 90-Second Version

Belarusians travel to Thailand mainly between November and March, for Phuket, Pattaya and Koh Samui, and there is no non-stop flight: Minsk connects through Istanbul, Dubai, Doha or Moscow and the journey takes 13–15 hours door to door. Belarusian passport holders use Thailand's Visa on Arrival, so the first stop after landing is the VoA counter, not the immigration desk. Visa on Arrival for Belarusian passports: 15 days, issued at the airport counter before immigration. Where you land: Suvarnabhumi (BKK), Bangkok.

What Immigration Checks on Belarusian Passports

  • Visa on Arrival counter first. Before immigration, queue at the VoA desk with your passport (at least six months' validity), the VoA form, one passport photo, a printed return or onward ticket dated within 15 days and your hotel booking.
  • Fee in cash. 2,000 THB per person, Thai baht only — change money before the counter; the exchange booths in the arrivals corridor are open around the clock.
  • Proof of funds. The VoA officer may ask to see 10,000 THB per person or 20,000 THB per family in cash or equivalent.
  • TDAC before you land. The arrival card is required in addition to the VoA; file it in advance so the officer can scan the QR code at the counter.

Your Name on the TDAC

Belarusian passports romanise the name by the national (Łacinka-based) rules, which differ from Russian transliteration — Ў is U, Ч is CH, Ж is ZH, Ш is SH — and the MRZ uses that form. Copy the MRZ exactly onto the TDAC even if your bank card spells the name differently; the patronymic is not in the MRZ and should not be entered. The passport number is two letters followed by seven digits.

Staying Longer Than 15 days

A Visa on Arrival can be extended once, by 7 days, at an Immigration office for 1,900 THB. For a longer trip apply for a Tourist Visa through the Royal Thai Embassy in Moscow, which covers Belarus, before you fly.

Practical Notes for Belarusian Travellers

  • Money. Many Belarusian-issued Visa and Mastercard cards do not work abroad; bring US dollars or euros in clean, recent notes to exchange. Belarusian roubles are not exchanged in Thailand. Every Thai ATM charges a flat 220 THB per withdrawal.
  • Time zone. Thailand is four hours ahead of Minsk.
  • Help in Thailand. Belarus has no embassy in Bangkok; consular help is routed through the nearest Belarusian mission in the region, so keep scanned copies of your passport and VoA stamp on your phone.
