Entry Requirements
If you hold a passport from Brazil, you must submit a Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) before entering the Kingdom of Thailand. The TDAC replaced the paper-based TM6 form and is now required for all international arrivals — regardless of your visa status or purpose of travel.
As a Brazilian citizen, you are eligible for visa exempt (90 days) entry. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry. The TDAC collects your personal details, travel information, and accommodation address in Thailand.

Auto Gates at Suvarnabhumi: Brazil Is Not on the Announced List
On 17 August 2026 Thailand approved in principle the addition of 31 more passports to the automated arrival gates at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, joining Thailand, Singapore and Hong Kong. Brazil is not among them, so arrival is at a manned immigration counter as before. The Thailand Digital Arrival Card remains mandatory either way and has to be filed before you travel.

What Immigration Checks on Brazilian Passports
- Yellow fever certificate. Brazil is a yellow-fever endemic country under WHO rules, so Thai immigration can ask Brazilian arrivals for the international certificate (CIVP). Carry it; most are not asked, but those who are cannot enter without it.
- Onward ticket. Checked by the airline on one-way tickets; a flight out within your permitted stay is enough.
- Passport validity. Six months from entry; Brazilian passports are ten-year documents for adults, five or less for minors.

Practical Notes for Brazilian Travellers
- Money. Brazilian international Visa/Mastercard cards work in Thai ATMs; the flat 220 THB machine fee plus IOF makes withdrawals expensive, so take fewer, larger amounts or bring US dollars to exchange. Reais cannot be exchanged in Thailand.
- Arrival day. Thailand is 10 hours ahead of Brasília; you land two calendar days after a morning departure on some routings — use the local Thai date on your ticket for the TDAC.
- Help in Thailand. The Brazilian Embassy is on Sathorn Road in Bangkok.
